Why in some pro sports the owner gets the trophy first and other the captain? - sports first aid supplies
For example:
Ice hockey and soccer - the captain of the team presented the first trophy.
Baseball, football, the owner is the first prize.
Why is this so?
Besides the obvious for baseball, where there is no tradition, but the captain of the football team has 3 captains.
Just curious to know why these traditions and the reasons for the differences.

Currently, there are captains of the teams in baseball. Derek Jeter is the captain of the Yankees. Although I like the Yankees, which is the only thing I remember from the top of my head. In the major leagues, the team captain a "C" on his uniform. As for the "why" the trophy, I do not really know to be issued, just like the sport, wrote its constitution, I suppose. My opinion is that if the "owner" the first prize he will receive some money, if it is the greed of the leaders who put the trophy, the team held've done enough to earn more than the owner or managing both. It is a theory, not the gospel.
